Anxiety & Fears

We all experience anxiety in a variety of situations: new job, moving to a new area, meeting new people, real danger (like a bear coming towards you), etc.  Having anxiety in these situations helps us prepare for danger or perform at our best.  It’s a healthy response.  However, when you find yourself worrying all the time or feeling tense when there is no major threat, this is when anxiety as a process becomes chronic.  If you find yourself caught in an endless loop of “what-ifs” or a sense of foreboding, it is important to identify and address the source of anxiety. Through our sessions, I can help you develop tools to cope with your anxiety and guide you towards creating an inner balance.
